Leading in Compassion

February 6, 2026— Claretians Compassion into Action

Fr. Paschal Amagba, CMF, at San Gabriel Mission High School

February is a month of love, hope, and kindness. These are the values that the Claretian Missionaries USA-Canada Province embraces through their work of serving in the church and community. Through Claretian-led programs, they are impacting more than 850,000 people worldwide. Claretians are putting their compassion into action.

Claretians serve people from many different communities in the U.S. and Canada. Their parishes support families and individuals as they grow in their faith and love-filled journey. Through their ministries, they extend support, partnering with campus ministries, assisting in workshops, food pantries and more. As part of their mission in Vancouver, British Columbia, several Claretians relocated there to help restore one of the most impoverished parishes. Since their arrival, attendance has doubled, demonstrating a renewed appreciation of community and trust.

Beyond the parish, they have brought in resources for the homeless and are supporting one of the colleges in Vancouver. Across the country, they have poured their hearts into communities through embracing youth, addressing health and wellness issues like food insecurity and housing instability, and supporting migrant families.

With our supporters, Claretian Community Impact (CCI) is able to be a vessel of Claretian Missionaries’ mission; leading in compassion. As we consider love and compassion in the month of February, we are reminded that long-lasting change starts when care is put into action. Help u continue to support Claretian-led programs that bring opportunity and hope to those who need it the most.
