June 5, 2026 — Celebrating the Second Anniversary of the Fr. Mark Brummel Legacy of Hope Fund
Two years…nearly $90,000 and hundreds of donors. That’s the impact of Fr. Mark’s Legacy of Hope Fund, so far.
While the campaign honors Fr. Mark Brummel’s faithful service over the 50 years he was active as a missionary, it also ensures the ministries closest to Fr. Mark’s heart continue to receive that support and hope for generations to come.
For more than five decades, Fr. Mark dedicated his life to serving God’s people through pastoral ministry, education, communications, and community outreach. Throughout his ministry, he believed that hope is not simply something we receive; it is something we share.
National Shrine of St. Jude– Supporting the ministry and outreach efforts of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
Our Lady of Guadalupe School– Supporting students through quality education and opportunities that help them grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
Villa Guadalupe Senior Center– Supporting residents’ quality of life through nutritious meals, facility maintenance, and activities that promote health, wellness, and community engagement
While the true impact of hope cannot always be measured in numbers, it can be seen every day through communities strengthened by faith, students pursuing brighter futures through education, and seniors finding dignity, safety, and connection in supportive environments.
As we celebrate this second anniversary, we are grateful for every donor, prayer, and act of generosity that has helped carry this vision forward. The Legacy of Hope Fund is more than a tribute to one person’s ministry—it is an invitation for all of us to continue building a future rooted in compassion, service, and hope.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 by the end of July. In the same month, the annual Benefactors’ Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, where supporters can learn more about the ministries supported by the Hope Fund and the Claretian mission of bringing hope to communities in need.
